OUTWARS: circle-strafe tutorial

The biggest secret in Outwars to date is the circle-strafe. Although some oldies might get mad at me for letting this secret out. I think it's best to let the new players know about it's advantages. Without this trick you will not get far in the game so I suggest you learn it and learn it well.

The main reason for using this technique is to conserve jet. dodge guided missiles and fly faster than you normally would. How do you do what I just did in that video? Let me break it down for you because it can be pretty complicated.

Circle-strafe (right)

1.
Start off by strafing to your right (keep holding)
2.
Then hold down the forwards key as well so that you are strafing right and moving forwards simultaneously.
3.
Now begin to move your mouse to the left so that your character is spinning in a circle on one leg.
(the faster your character spins the faster you will fly and the more advantage you will have over other players)
4.
Here is where it gets tricky. You have to start hitting your jet (sparingly) and let go of the forwards key.
(now even though flying around in a circle formation is not necessary it is highly recommended.)

Circle-strafe (left)

3.

4.

If you're like wtf?!?!? how can i press all those keys at once?? It's probably because your configuration is all messed up. To get a better idea on how to set up your keys check out my config in the beginners guide section.
